Our school first opened its doors in 1997 with the goal of offering excellent education that honored all students’ backgrounds, exposed them to the excitement of learning, and believed they could achieve high levels of academic success.
One of the principal ways we do this is by focusing on our character development program: The Virtues Project. As we develop excellence, responsibility, determination, enthusiasm, and respect, we grow our skills both academically and as positive contributors to society. Our recognition that differences enrich our experiences is reflected in our staff and our instruction, and helps the students to be bridge-builders in the world. Recognizing that art and science education develop the whole child helps them to become well-rounded learners.

My child has had an excellent experience at ACCLAIM Academy. He was very successful academically. His primary grade teachers were caring and attentive. The social environment, especially in the 2021–2022 school year, was welcoming and thoughtful of the needs of the children, coming to school after experiencing distance-learning programs for so long. As a parent, having a child in school the first two years of the pandemic, I felt like my child was well taken care of. The school was very well organized and prepared for distance-learning and eventually in person classes. That is something that can be said for very few schools and very few administrators. In my experience, it means something really good and special is happening at ACCLAIM.
